Established in 1946 by the original owner and namesake, M.E. “Gene” Johnson, the garage started as a friendly neighborhood service garage in central Austin. Though Gene has since passed away, his legacy lives on through the dedicated service provided by the current team.
In 1993, the business was purchased by Bubba and Tom, who were long-time employees at the garage before taking ownership. The Austin location continues to thrive, and now there is a fantastic Marble Falls location as well. Bubba and Tom are present every day to ensure customers receive the best service and that their vehicles are repaired to their satisfaction.
